Fascinating island with a mix of Mayan people and Garifuna people. The Garifuna are survivors of a shipwrecked slave boat. You can only reach Livingston via a small boat traveling down the Rio dulce. There are few cars on the island and people still live in grass huts along the banks of the river.

This is an AC mini suite on the Sun Princess- great cabin, larger than the premium suites on the newer ships, only drawback is the narrow veranda.
